KaZena is a full-time Professional Contemporary BellyDance Performer,  Teacher and Workshop facilitator now based in Myrtleford,  Alpine Victoria.  

 

As Director of Alpine Contemporary Bellydance Academy, KaZena conducts regular and ongoing classes at Myrtleford, Wodonga and Wangaratta.   See Class Info  page for details. With a strong commitment to women’s health, her classes focus on posture and technique in a safe and spiritually uplifting class environment.   KaZena holds a Diploma of Professional Counselling.

 

KaZena’s dance experience includes:   Competition Ballroom,  Jazz,  Latin,  Rock ‘n Roll, Tai Chi, American Tribal Style and traditional Middle Eastern Bellydance, with  Gothic Fusion being her personal passion.     This exotic  fusion of styles gives her choreographies a unique  freshness, a strong sense of personal commitment to the dance, plus the freedom to explore full artistic expression during her performances.

 

KaZena has  studied Bellydance as an art form for many years full-time and has attended some of the most significant Workshops to be presented in Australia eg:

In order to maintain her own high standard, KaZena continues to attend Workshops and encourages her Students to do the same.

 

KaZena designs and makes all her own costumes,  having taught herself how to sew 2 years ago.  Many of her costumes are  dance-specific which means they are designed  specifically for one particular dance.    With an array of stunning costumes and accessories which reflect different moods and which suit different audience requirements,  KaZena’s  performances make for memorable events.         KaZena’s skills include  Veil, Cane, Sword, Zills, Isis Wings.
